Corrosion Specialist – East Zeit Petroleum Ltd.

Job Details:

Location: Cairo, Egypt (Hybrid – on-site & occasional remote work)
Employment Type: Full-time
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and mitigate corrosion risks on company infrastructure.
- Conduct inspections and analyze corrosion data.
- Develop and implement effective corrosion control measures.
- Ensure compliance with industry safety and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver technical solutions.
- Provide technical expertise in corrosion prevention and maintenance planning.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Materials, Corrosion, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
- Advanced degree or certifications (e.g., NACE or AMPP) is a plus.
- Expertise in corrosion engineering, materials science, and metallurgical principles.
- Knowledge of corrosion inspection techniques, protection systems, and failure analysis.
- Experience in oil and gas or related industries.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in corrosion modeling and analysis software/tools.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Experience with pipeline integrity management programs and asset management preferred.
