Job Overview

The Senior Marketing Manager – KSA leads marketing strategy, trade programs, and brand development to drive sustainable and profitable business growth. This role ensures the effective execution of global brand initiatives, channel marketing, and customer engagement strategies aligned with regional objectives. The position collaborates closely with sales teams, distributors, Valvoline Global Equity, Aramco PA, and EMEA marketing teams to enhance brand equity and market presence.


Key Responsibilities

Retail / Trade & Channel Marketing Management

  • Develop and execute market-driven trade marketing programs in KSA (product launches, promotions, brand campaigns, field activations).

  • Prepare annual trade marketing and joint marketing plans with distributors and key customers.

  • Manage Marketing Support Funds (MSF) and Sales Support Funds (SSF) to maximize impact.

  • Identify potential customers and develop business cases for expanding the branded workshop network.

  • Lead market execution and refinement of Trade Value Proposition (TVD) and Customer Value Proposition (CVP).

Marketing Strategy & Planning

  • Support and execute insight-driven and data-based marketing strategies for KSA, aligned with EMEA marketing.

  • Ensure business plans are aligned with corporate goals, collaborating with sales teams on distributor planning.

  • Define KPIs and ROI metrics for marketing initiatives.

  • Deliver tailored strategies for customer segments to boost engagement and business partnerships.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally on integrated business plans.

Brand & Product Strategy

  • Lead brand-building initiatives across channels in KSA.

  • Develop and ensure execution of brand guidelines, promotional toolkits, influencer campaigns, and above-the-line marketing.

  • Support product launches and provide recommendations for product lines or extensions.

  • Ensure sourcing, pricing, and product offerings meet market requirements and drive revenue and margin growth.

Team & Capabilities Development

  • Develop a high-performing, diverse marketing team in KSA.

  • Improve marketing processes, knowledge, and capabilities to execute strategies effectively.

Reporting & Analytics

  • Compile and share monthly business performance reports.

  • Contribute to monthly Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) processes.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Marketing, or related field (technical/engineering degree is a plus). Master’s degree preferred.

  • 8–10 years of relevant experience in developing marketing and commercial strategies to support business growth and ROI.

  • 10+ years of progressive marketing experience with 3–5 years in a global or regional leadership role.

  • Multicultural supervisory/leadership experience and cross-functional collaboration.

  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills; ability to translate data into actionable insights.

  • Previous experience in multinational companies (FMCG + Lubricants preferred).
