Production & Maintenance Technician Opportunities in Gas & Petroleum
Perform operational duties within rotating roster systems in production and maintenance environments. Support safe and continuous operation of process systems under supervision of senior technical staff.
Production Technician Responsibilities
• Operate process systems under direction of Lead Production Technician or Production Supervisor.
• Troubleshoot equipment and process problems to restore normal operating conditions.
• Support production, maintenance, and project coordination activities.
• Monitor inventory of chemicals, materials, and production consumables.
• Ensure health, safety, and operational performance targets are achieved.
• Assist other technical disciplines within experience and capability limits.
• Prepare well facilities and ensure safe interface with production systems.
Maintenance Technician Responsibilities
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair rotating and static mechanical equipment.
• Service pumps, compressors, turbines, valves, HVAC systems, diesel engines, and piping systems.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance under supervision.
• Support emergency maintenance during process upsets or shutdowns.
Electrical Technician Responsibilities
• Maintain and repair electrical and electronic equipment.
• Work with high and low power distribution systems.
• Support safety, alarm, communication, and navigation systems.
• Maintain generators, transformers, motors, PLC-based control systems, fire and gas systems, and instrumentation equipment.
• Participate in preventive maintenance planning.
Qualifications & Conditions
• Diploma or certificate in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent technical field.
• Experience in offshore or industrial production maintenance environments.
• Knowledge of crude oil process equipment including pumps, compressors, and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to work in rotating shift systems.
• Strong safety awareness and technical problem-solving skills.
